Root and Install TWRP Recovery on Huawei P9 Plus Android Mobile

Today we are back with a new tricks on how to root and install TWRP for the Huawei best mobile phone that is Huawei P9 Plus. Huawei P9 Plus is powered with 5.50-inch display powered by 1.8 GHz processor alongside 4GB RAM and 12-megapixel rear camera. It has Flexible and responsive fingerprint scanner with Dual lens main camera delivers high quality composite images. Also it have slimline aluminium unibody construction. P9 Plus has 3,400mAh battery which is quiet good.

Step 1 : Before starting you must backup all of your data to your pc. Backup all the application, photos, music, and all other important data you might have on your device.

 

Step 2: Now charge your Mobile phone to 100 % to ensure safety for you device.

 

Step 3: Enable Developer Options in you Android device Just tap the Build Number 7 times in setting in About Phone option. Now in Developer option Enable Usb Debugging and OEM Unlocking options. Now you can connect your device to your PC using a Usb cable.

 

 

Step 4: Now download Minimal ADB and Fastboot from here and unlock Bootloader first from here  and download  TWRP Recovery from here

 

Step 5: Extract the Minimal ADB Setup on your PC and move the downloaded TWRP Recovery to the ADB Folder.

 

Step 6: Now rename the TWRP img file to Recovery.img and Connect your Phone to PC.

 

Step 7: Now open the ADB Folder in C drive and open Command Window by pressing  Shift Key + Right Mouse Click.

 

 

Step 8 : Now Reboot the phone into Bootloader and type the Command

adb reboot bootloader

 

Now the device will boot into Bootloader After that type this command

fastboot devices

 

Nowflash the recovery by typing this command

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

 

After that reboot your device and type the command

fastboot reboot-bootloader

 

Now disconnect your mobile phone and check the screen now you have successfully installed TWRP in your Huawei P9 Plus .

 

Step 9 : Now downloaded the SuperSu zip file from here  and move the SuperSu  file to the folder of your internal memory of your mobile phone.

 

Step 10 : Now Boot your phone into recovery by by pressing 

Volume Down + Power

 

 

Step 11 : Now open up  the TWRP Recovery, and Click on the Install menu and Browse and Select the SuperSu folder in your mobile phone. Just select and Install SuperSu and you have done you have successfully Root your device. Thanks TeamWin for providing these apps.
